UPCOMING PROJECTS
We are always looking to improve and upgrade.  Here is a look at some of our upcoming projects and upgrades!

SEPTIC UPGRADE

Breaking Ground

We will be embarking upon what will likely be the biggest project our camp has ever seen - a full upgrade of the Septic system.

Due to changing regulations from the Ministry many camps as old as ours require a full replacement of their septic systems.

In order to keep Belwood thriving, we are embarking on this challenge with great dedication and care.  We are currently asking for donations through a GoFundMe initiative.

LEGACY GARDEN

Over the next few years, we will be transforming our nature area into a beautiful garden commemorating all who attended Belwood and committed their time and heart to our wonderful camp.

This project will be kicking off in 2024, so we are excited to bring you more updates about it as we develop it more.

PATH

PATH UPGRADES

Continuing with our commitment to be fully accessible, part of that initiative is upgrading paths that to make them more accessible and inviting.

Along with this, we have areas of camp that we cannot get to as easily because they are further away from the main part of camp.  The goal is to make every area of camp easily accessible to all folks and further the reach of our program.  This is a work in progress and we continue to make gradual improvements each year.

PAST PROJECTS
Here is a look at some of our recently completed projects and upgrades!

POOL & CHANGE-ROOMS

Thanks to the generous support of our families and the community, and with the tremendous support of the Trillium Foundation we were able to upgrade our pool and change-rooms to increase accessibility to these highly important areas.

Since the project was done in 2019, the new pool and changeroom facilities pay special attention to accessibility and safety, complying with the latest standards.

It was definitely time to

attend to this upgrade, and

we could not be happier

with it!
